Barks from certain trees such as lime are highly fibrous and are among the very first plant fibers woven by humans.

For the first time in France, I am pleased to exhibit the unique work of archaeological reconstructions by Anne Reichert, a specialist in prehistoric techniques.

You will learn how the raw material was harvested and the different weaving techniques used in the Neolithic period to make numerous everyday objects such as nets, cloaks, hats, shoes, sieves... all presented in this original archaeological exhibition.
